So so upset at the leaders of our country for allowing polices and practises beyond our control, they have deeply affected cities and are slowing chocking them off. Bad bad governments. A great City, but governments over Canada fail. Other large cities Toronto, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Hamilton, Brampton , Ottawa, suffering at the hands of our foolish government, cities of good people who are suffering!!! These Liberal leaders should all be thrown out of power. !! !!!!!!
Geez Louise.
I would now say Mississauga has more crime then Brampton or Etobicoke.
If you could pick a place you could move to in Canada that is safe and has a good work environment where would that be ?
In truth, if we deport all immigrant branched people, the only ones left here would be the animals and plants(some of them are also immigrants like purple loosestrife and zebra mussels).
Are you an aboriginal or part of the first nations? If so then I respect your decision. But if you are white, you to are part of an immigrant family. Heard of history class?
What do you mean by brownie? There are billions of brownies from many places. What country are you referring to?
I do agree that crime is getting worse. Lot of increase in shootings and violence over the past couple of years. There also seems to be a large increase in prostitution around the SQ1 area. Plenty of stuff going on in those shiny new condos. Fortunately, it seems like most crime is organized in nature instead of just being spur-of-the-moment like it is in other large cities. In most shootings and violence, the victim seems to be targeted and aren't just random.
I'm not anti-immigrant in any form whatsoever, but every now and then, people do bring their problems from home with them and it really shows. Some project housing neighbourhoods can be a nightmare. Mississauga really needs to work on social programs and growing jobs in the worse areas. The way this city is growing, it can't be an immigrant suburb forever. You can't have a city of almost a million people with little to no economic production in the downtown core, because people will find it harder to find work if they aren't as wealthy, and will turn to crime.
Mississauga is nowhere near the crime hell that people are describing, but it definitely needs improvement in all areas.
