I would like to know what would be the minimum cost of living in Mississauga for a family of 3 with 3 year old kid?

Selfcare is not included in this list. For example, haircuts, salons, make up etc.

You need to make 200000 a year minimum to support a whole family here if only your working and you still will barely make it. So no savings

Hi Friends, I would like to know what would be the minimum cost of living in Mississauga for a family of 3 with 3 year old kid? Also, is Kindergarten free for migrates as I wanted to join my kid in there. How much can I save monthly with moderate life style with 75k per year before pay tax package ? Is it advisable to migrate there ?

Mississauga is becoming another Toronto, overcrowded and overvalued. Detached houses are now going for 1 million when less then 20 years ago they were two hundred thousand. 20-30 years ago Mississauga still had some semi rural areas with farms and vacant land but it was still big enough to have all the amenities of a normal suburb; malls, grocery stores, movie theatres and plenty of restaurants. Now every inch of square space is being used to build crappy over priced condos. As a result the public transit is still very bad and the roads and infrastructure is not designed to support all the extra cars on the road. So now on every major road and highway there’s traffic till 9 pm or later even on weeknights!

Hi Vesna, you need 5000 dollars for two people, if you want to live above ground, drive a car, and have entertainment. If you want the bare minimum, living in a basement, using public transportation, and watching only free internet movies, 3500 should be okay.
