This is great....but an actual date/year of when these prices were gathered would be great, as cost of living increases every year.

Wow it's still expensive to live on central Hamilton mountain. Wages need to start matching cost of living. The city is becoming dirty. Where are our taxes going ? Wake up people.

Raised on Hamilton (mountain), live in Ancaster (suburb) now. Lots to do here, festivals, hiking trails ,waterfalls, sports. Great place to raise a family, good public schools, McMaster University one of the best.

This is a very colourful place filled with artists, hipsters and yuppies. Hamilton is to Toronto what Harlem or Queens is to Manhattan.
