Typical mid-size canadian rust belt city, about average or better for blue collar work in the area. Nonexistent higher paying jobs. The car dependency of a suburban US city with just ok road infrastructure. (If you disagree, try taking a trip down hespeler road without a car)

Outright ghetto-tier problems with petty crime, drug use, and homelessness. The outgoing municipal administration apparently cut a deal with the federal govt to take in every problem druggie in the province of ontario in exchange for funding. Im sure all of the homeowners around ainslie now living in cracktown really appreciated that.

Used to be okay, now in terminal decline
