I love Houston! Yes, we have some needed improvements, but nothing unheard of in other cities. I love Houston parks especially SPARK parks which my children enjoy! I love going to Eleanor Tinsley park to walk and listen to the music of nature. I live near Lake Houston and love to go sit out on the water and daydream. Houston is home to this California girl and always will be!

Houston is a disgusting city. The air pollution isn't as bad as Los Angeles but still bad, especially in the summer. There is a lot of litter everywhere and even the parks are dirty. It is best to avoid the ponds, lakes, and creeks since they are usually very polluted. Swimming in them or just eating fish caught in them is asking to get sick. The water in the bayous looks and smells like raw sewage.
