The city has a huge problem with water pollution and litter.

Gross city. Lots of litter and graffiti. Even at the parks its dirty and the water smells awful.
Sharon on Nov 26, 2018:
Disgusting city! The air pollution isn't too bad, but it is still on the hazy side. There is garbage everywhere and the water in the bayous and ponds in green and smells like raw sewage.

I love Houston! Yes, we have some needed improvements, but nothing unheard of in other cities. I love Houston parks especially SPARK parks which my children enjoy! I love going to Eleanor Tinsley park to walk and listen to the music of nature. I live near Lake Houston and love to go sit out on the water and daydream. Houston is home to this California girl and always will be!
