I was disgusted by the beaches on the national seashore. They were full of garbage. We couldn't even swim, because we kept finding garbage and plastic bags floating in the water. My son and I spent the whole day on the beach cleaning up, because we couldn't just leave it there. Corpus Christie and the parks need to make some major changes. The first should be not allowing vehicles on the beaches and second, beach goers need to be checked when going in and going out. I realize that some of the garbage was floating in from the ocean, but that is not an excuse for all of the garbage that was being littered on the beach. It is time for people to step up and care.

Very disappointing to see mass industry, causing poor air and water quality in what could be such a beautiful, waterfront city.
