I've lived in Hyderabad for ~2 years now and the areas I've been to (the entirety of Cyberabad, Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, etc) are extremely safe and I've walked on these roads even at 3AM with no worry. Women can also take Uber alone post midnight without fear..
Hyderabad is dangerous to walk at night. The roads are filled with criminals and mobsters and extortionists, rapists and murderers roam the Hyderabad streets at night.
Hyderabad is also filled with the Peaceful Community members and it has one of the highest percentages in the country.
The only positive thing about Hyderabad is its food at cheap price, especially the Biryani.
An autorickshaw tried to attack us, we were inside the car.
As we tried to flee, he followed us at high speeds and smacked his vehicle into our car several times from behind in heavy traffic and tried to stop the car.
How could someone dare to stop some other vehicle in the middle of busy highway to attack??
We took the expressway and finally escaped the situation.
Unfortunately CCTVs aren't there. Bad security and the cops asked for bribe to deal.
The crime index is far away from facts, it should be above 60%
The old city, the green parts in the city and even the nearest outskirts are a den of prostitution, violent crimimals, rapists.
No good security systems, CCTVs are rare even on the main highways.
Corruption and bribery are at peaks.
No justice without money.
FOR A WOMAN, IT IS AN UNSAFE CITY JUST AS ANY OTHER INDIAN CITY.

With these fake work-experience certificates, plenty of Telugu people eventually migrate to United States of America and permanently settle in USA. Each fake experience certificate for a Telugu person will cost atleast Rs. 40000. It is no wonder that many software companies exist in cities with large Telugu population such as Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai.

Both Hyderabad and Bangalore deserve a crime index of above 50.
Hyderabad and Bangalore are worst cities for women safety in South India. Pickpocketing, robbery including burglary, chain snatching and problems from transgender beggar gangsters are equally worst in both Hyderabad and Bangalore.
Being a woman, I felt a lot safer in Bangalore and Coimbatore, compared to Hyderabad. As #Hameed has rightly said, Hyderabad crime index should be more than 50. The present numbers shown in this page are very less.
Except for Hyderabad, Telangana is among the most backward states in India. Hyderabad has plenty more slums than Bangalore. Bangalore is much more cleaner and greener than Hyderabad. As a woman walking alone in Hyderabad, I never felt safe especially after 6 PM.
Robbery and violent crime are very high in Hyderabad.
I feel proud to be living safely in cyberabad limits.
Miyapur police also doing good. But I request to take (Janapriya apartments phase 1) in miyapur under control of police ONLY. Because so many mobs gangs take law and order in to there hands. These mobs and gangs are with families living in sane locality. This is not coming to notice of Miyapur police officials.

To be frank this is a society with rigid and corrupt dark society. Women involve in disputes. There is no respect for law. Any case is judges by this society with out approaching police and courts.

I also request a Efficient state intelligence officer to appoint who can monitor these area continuously living inbetween them and save true information. ----So that gangs mobs works can disclose and especially in advance there is a peace in our locality. This will also help Miyapur Police officials
