I stay in a PG that in which one room is shared by 3. located in heart of the city Mehdipatnam

It has a kitchen to cook food.

Maid cleans Vessels, floor, washroom every day (No fee for maid)

Very reasonable price 1700 per individual, electricity bill would be (70-200) per individual.

The Annual Maintenance fee is 500 RS

1000 is security deposit (Refundable)

I spend 2000 for food, 1200 for bike petrol, 400 mobile recharge, 200 rs movies (once or twice a month)

Total: 1700+200+2000+1200+400+200= 5700

Approx 6000 per month

Except for super hot weather during summer, everything else is very good in hyderabad. I am a kannadiga and during my short stay, I happened to meet telugites from different districts like guntur, vijaywada, vizag etc. People are very hospitable. Job opportunities are also quite good. stay indoors during summer else you will suffer. For those who want to study via correspondence, Osmania University would be the right choice since fees structure is affordable. Schooling is not very expensive. Paradise for meat eaters! Clothing and Housing is also very cheaper.

Embracing the local culture is very important. GOOD LUCK.

Hi All,
Kindly Help.

I might relocate to hyderabad from NCR because of Job Change. The New Company is in Hi-tech city. How much is the average cost of living for a bachelor there. Including Rent, Transportation and Food. How much do I need to spend monthly to survive. I prefer Independent room in a 2 BHK Flat or even a Independent 1BHK would do. If it is a PG then Single room.

Kindly provide suggestions.

I am resident of Hyd from 30yrs .
1) Cost of living
Rent 2BHK 6k to 25k depends on Area but most of areas u can get it by 10k (2 months advance)
House hold items 7k (food, gas) if u cook,
Net 700RS 10MBPS
Transportation bus pass 850(ordinary)/1200(metro)/2000(AC)
Movie 80Rs(ordinary)/100/150(multyplux)
Out side food 200 Rs (2 persons can eate)
2) Education
Depends on level of schools 10k PA to 1L PA
3) People nature
Very friendly
4) Climate
Except summer u can enjoy rest of year
5) Safety
If you are in city need not bother about it, if ur in outside of city be care full (doesn't mean not safe but be alert)
6) Outside Fooding
Reputation food centres 1000Rs per family.
I prefer takeaway 500 Rs sufficient for family
Street food is very cheap need not consider it (100 Rs 2 to 3 persons) can eate.

A person with 20K min can lead family (outskirts).
With in city it wood be 35 to 40k per family.

For batchlers you can get hostels from 7k PM to 12 K PM (includes Food) depends on facilities AC non AC etc...
For batchlers u can get fernished homes 2BHK on sharing bases cost 15k to 20k(will be shared by all members in room) near to work place(Kondapur/Gachibowli/hiteckcity). U have to cook food.

Thank you

i can say hyd is a very good place to live,i stay here from 2 years compare to bang or pune both place i stay found hyd is batter then these two city esven i stay in NCR also.
low cost food , good public, all festival you can enjoy here (not like bang) low cost rent compare to any other city if you looking for a peace of mind hyd gives you.
security is good,if you have your vehicle then know worry very roads are wide, if not then also don't worry ... public convene is very good but buses are old so you feel sometime that you are in village :) but its cheap, AC buses also here, auto wala take little more but its depended on you how much bargain you done also share auto is here so you can go in 10 to 20 Rs on sharing.
one thing bargain is very much here in every thing .
internet is to good from ACTbeam Rs 750 you got 10Mbps speed 75GB data after that 6Mbps speed unlimited Per month.

Also please pros & cons between Hydrabad & Banglore.

1) Cost of living : It is lot cheaper. They to stay a little in sub urban. Posh areas could be costly. Hitech city (near to kondapur, khajaguda)/kukatpally ,
if you are stay in outer place 2bhk cost 6000 to 12000. with all facility .
if you are stay in inner place 2bhk cost 10000 to 18000. with all facility .

2) Education : Its much much cheaper than blore.

3) People nature : Very friendly and lazy attitude if you want some rest then this place is correct. but people help you not used you.

4) Climate : moderate. at raining you feel like a pune or bang. Very hot in summer. Stay at office or indoors .
5) Safety : Very safe city . best part for girls.
6) Outside Fooding : Mess, Restaurants, street food.. everything great and cheap and if you are a foodie you like the taste very much .

7) Transport Cost : metro is coming up. Busses are cheap pass around 750k per month. autos charge 20k on shared basis.
lot of It company are here
