Moved here two years ago due to my husbands job with our 4-month-old. We've wanted to leave ever since! It's very dated, run down and the traffic is appalling! Union Street is horrible, with endless discount stores and dirty buildings. If you love pound lands then you'll love this city, there's one in every corner.

The beach boulevard is even worse, completely in need of being re-done as it's simply depressing. What could be the highlight of the city is simply another let down.

The worst part of it all is how ridoculpusly expensive Aberdeen is in terms of rent and buying!! It can rival London in some areas, but without any of the perks that come with that. But now that the oil price is falling Aberdeen is starting to wake up to reality - that it is nothing without oil.

Can't see it ever improving, the terrible and lazy attitude to improve is too imbedded. The only people who seem to like Aberdeen are the ones who have never travelled or lived anywhere else!
