Living in Rio, Guaranaba Bay is a cesspool all the rivers that feed into it are open sewers. Noise pollution, is appalling with little regulation. It is not so much street noise but public events or individuals that can blast music across the city until dawn. Carnival is hell for those that have to live here the street become public toilets. Rio stinks literally.
