We frequently have smoke from burning trash pass over. It usually does not last long, but it is usually very strong, and I feel, deadly. It just now happened, before I wrote this. I have lived here for over a decade, first in Costambar and now in Torre Alta 5 area. It is an injustice to suggest to visitors that the air is safe. While it may be safe most of the time, it only takes a few minutes of heavy smoke to seriously affect someone. I have to isolate myself in an air conditioned room while this is passing over. It mostly occurs around dusk. I believe this is to hide the smoke. Visitors must be warned!
