Driving a scooter is the most practical way of transportation on the island. However, the air quality and emissions are so bad that breathing is like sucking air out of an exhaust pipe. My wife and I have been here for three months and the pollution, specifically the air pollution while driving, is why we can't wait to leave. It'll only get worse, which is why we'll never be back. So long, Phuket!
