Berlin is mostly safe, low polluted, very green with plenty of beautiful parks,very good salaries, with friendly people and really high quallity of life.I think this data is spot on. One remark, i am living in the southwest.

Berlin is highly polluted, the streets are sark and unsafe in the evening, the parks are not enough and some in the east are dangerous to walk by.
The legalized smoke in bars MUST be mentioned as a factor for increased pollution and damaging for heath for the public, as it is not legal in most other Euro countries and in New York
Berlin is Not cheap anymore, the house prices are levelling up to New York, check and compare yourself online.
