We live in Northcliff Randburg and we have elevated walls, electric fences and then perimeter sensors all over the property. Some good house security features and then each possible entry point bogged down. Am fully aware all this will probably not halt a determined intruder, but, will give us enough notice for any unauthorized entry, at any hour of the day.

We continuously hear from other locations that experience criminal activities, but for us we have been blessed to not have had such experience.
We have 2 different patrols also in our street that does 24 hour service so glad we can afford such comfort, not many people can.

South Africa is the playground for criminals and they do not only steal your stuff, many times goes with rape, torture and murder. None of it getting too much investigated as we have a super ineffective police force and the entire legal system is a joke.

I will visit RSA alone as a 23 yo male visiting a Swazi Artist Crax in Randburg. We will be in the studio most times but still think it's unsafe to walk alone either during the day or the night.
In cases of emergency, now you know.
