this place is based on perception
and many people stayed for a day or never
You should read at ITALIAN POLICE REPORT INSTEAD
NAPOLI IN 2020 was number 25th in ITALY for crime !
that is the reality the rest are words

This made me laugh. These statistics are based on "perceptions" of people who maybe weren't even there. Naples is 18th in Italy by crime rate according to POLICE RECORDS and its murder rate is WAY WAY WAY lower than any major US city.

I think Naples is the unsafest city in Italy. Being raised there I have had many experiences directly and indirectly of unsafe situations during day and night. Too many attempts of robbery, car theft and violent gangs driving their motorbike on the sidewalks without helmets. Unbelievable it is italy.

I went to Naples the day after new years eve and I was shocked. Especially in the districts near the main railway station are nearly only poor people and refugees, garbage is everywhere and even poop on the sidewalks. Also worth knowing: at nearly every bus stop/piazza, the military is partrolling armed to the teeth. All in all not a great experience - even the great food can't up my impression!

Was there on a class trip. We all looked like fucking german tourist [what we are :) ] and went to the areas where all the heroin syringes and stolen scooters are filling the alleys. Even smoked weed in those particular areas, and wandering around in such rough streets stuffed with blackmarket stands and with no self-control maybe was not a good idea. We were in a group of 5 though and nothing happend. Always keep an eye on your city map tho, because you enter the problematic areas pretty quickly :/

#Ivano Stella: If you're comparing Naples to Berlin and HK you truly don't have a clue.
