Adding to the another commentary here, Bolzano and medium cities around it are probably even worse nowadays. At night and during the day you keep being harassed by african refugees and all kind of muslim refugees around the city. It's really sad. Italy is a no-go now

Went to Bolzano with my family 2020. It was NOT nice as soon as it got dark. Had to shout aggressively at black young men (migrants?) that was begging for money and kept coming closer and closer to me and my young daughters. I’m not easily scarred - but that was unsettling. Talked to a woman who was born in Bolzano and she said that it used to be nice - but wasn’t now. Real shame on such a beautiful city, the true inhabitants were also nice. Will never return and also warned friends.
