I've lived in Oxford since 1989 and always found everything in Oxford City centre expensive compared to other outlaying towns including the cost of things compared to same in exactly the same chain store. Tourism and students drive up the costs of rent, food, and general living costs that stay high even during winter break when the city is less crowded.

Yes, i live in Oxford.

The cost of living in Oxford is getting unbearable these days as i need to order the purchase of some food stuff from London yesterday when i realised that their prices are a little bit cheaper in London supermarket than Oxford supermarket. The funny thing is that both supermarkets bear same name.

Hi!!! I think that Oxford is a very beautiful city and I think that it would have a very good future.
And I think that the prices of the common life are really reasonable, but the private life is really expensive.
But that is not so strange, because because of the pandemic situation the private life and the private services consequently are getting more expensive in whole world.

Also in Bulgaria.
But I think that the information about Oxford is a motivation to improve the level of the education in whole the world, including Bulgaria.

I think that the moment is convenient for interchange of educational ideas between all the educational institutions in Europe.

That idea would continue in the future.

Kind regards,

Teodora

I made an app for iPhone, and it may be helpful, or not, I don’t know. The app allows you to compare the prices of supermarkets in the UK.
As it searches directly in their websites, you can save a list and update the prices in a different day.

Here is the link:

It’s free.
