Hi kolp..was worndering whether you got any response on your question. Also thinking of doing school at Leiden but have also kindergaten considerations.
Kolp on Oct 24, 2018:
Hello all,
I was wondering if there are any public kindergartens in Leiden for children aged between 2-6? I mean the kindergartens which welcome international children for cheaper fees than the fees stated above. I'm planning to do Master's in Leiden, but kindergarten and its fee are important criteria for my budget. I would appreciate any help!

Hi everybody, I would like to know how is living in Leiden Just one person with 2000 euro net monthly?
Jason on Aug 01, 2018:
Leiden is a fabulous city to live in, the cost of living is high here as in most of the Netherlands, however earnings are high to compensate, their is a Lidl supermarket nearby so you can get groceries less than the price here.

Taxes are high in the Netherlands 30% plus, however the country is very well maintained and the public services are excellent, the roads are a pleasure to drive on.

Housing and accommodation are pricey as their is high demand for it, i recommend making a private arrangement like i have. Most estate agents advertise apartments at over 1000 euros per month.

All in all Leiden is a great place to live, as long as you are on a decent salary.
