Rent: £1020. This is rent capped and also in the West End, going rate now would be around £1300 for a 2 bed in the West End with a living room, kitchen and 3 piece suite in the bathroom.
Gas & Electric: £112 on fixed tariff.
Internet: £28 with Virgin Media (haggle down if you are a recurring customer) for ultra fast broadband.
Mobile: £10 for 20GB data with Giffgaff.
Council tax: £170.
Groceries: £450. (Me and my boyfriend try to eat healthy so our bill here is higher as we buy a lot of fresh food).
Public transport: £20, we both WFH so don't use it much. Bus is around £5 return, a Subway card if you are close to the network will mean a day return is around £3.50. Trains to city centre are around £2 return with a railcard.
Gym: £28 for PureGym, £58 for more upmarket gyms like Nuffield.
Clothes: I spend around £50 monthly
Leisure: Pubs nowadays would be around £5 for a pint, £8 for double spirit and mix. I spend around £300 a month on socialising.
Rent: £1200 (2 Bed, 1 bathroom, fully furnished, new building, West End so it’s full of pubs, coffeeshops and close to the city centre) sharing with a flatmate so £600 per month
Council tax: £170 sharing with flatmate so £85
Utilities: £160 sharing with flatmate so £80 per person but we keep the heating all the time and it’s about 20C in the apartment even at night. Would be a lot cheaper in summer
Internet: £38, sharing so £19
Mobile: £13.5
Groceries: £200
Public transport: £20 (don’t really use it often as I wfh)
Leisure and restaurants: £250 (I do lots of takeaways and have too much coffee)
Clothes: like about £100
Gym: £33
So it’s roughly £1320 per month.

People are kind and friendly in Glasgow. We have great neighbors. The weather is kinda "shiet" but we love Glasgow.
