3.25 for gas in FT Lauderdale? Where are you buying gas? Right now gas is btwn 2.19-2.39 depending where you get it. Regular gas, nor premium.

Bananas are .59/lb at Walmart & .69/lb at Publix.

Your numbers are so far off on what we pay for food in Fort Lauderdale versus what you have listed here. I pay .60 for a pound of potatoes, 3.25 for a gallon of milk, .40 for a pound of bananas, and there are others. In addition, if I take prices from Sam's Club it would be much less, especially for Eggs and Milk. Food pricing in the UK was terrible compared to here. Unless you are taking pricing from the corner gas station markets, your numbers at the "low" end are really the high end in most cities I looked at.
