Turkey's president Erdogan is notorious for causing hyperinflation in Turkey now so Erdogan must be very dishonest and should be untrustworthy all all.

How could the world trust the hyperinflation-criminal Erdogan with the great responsibility of distribution of Ukraine grain worldwide fairly at a time like now while the world is desperately attempting to control and annihilate inflation through fair distribution of Ukraine grain?

Are we tasking the hyperinflation-criminal Erdogan to hyperinflate the price of Ukraine grain through his distribution? If so, the result would be worst than the current inflation.

The terrorist Putin recently declared the war in Ukraine was just the beginning shamelessly.

The terrorists the world have ever encountered until so far such as Bin laden, etc is not as bad as the terrorist Putin because Putin holds his Russia president post illegally using all kind of corrupted methods and then now abuses the Russian force to do his terrorist job dirtily.

So unless the corrupted terrorist Putin is removed quickly, the world peace that we maintains until so far would not last anymore to the extent of starting next world war.

The first step to undo the terrorist Putin is to unrecognize his government just like exactly what China did to Taiwan by not recognizing Taiwan passport in China so Taiwanese need to apply for a China ID card from Hong Kong, China in order to visit China.

In the same way, the current Russian passport must be banned worldwide in unrecognization of the terrorist Putin's regime and a new passport for the future democratically elected government of Russia should be allowed to be applied for the Russian for the international travel and this should be implemented immediately by the European Union.

All Russian who possess oversea assets and refuse to accept the new Russian passport must be confiscated of their oversea assets in order to fund to unseat the terrorist Putin in Russia.

Russia is only a country controlled by the terrorist Putin so countries in European Union shouldn't be afraid to enter war in Ukraine or else just letting Ukraine alone to fight the stronger Russian force unfairly would embolden the terrorist Putin and that is not the result we want.

The more fear you become, the more aggressive the terrorist Putin become so the chicken game of the European Union must be stopped forever.

Terrorism including the terrorist Putin shouldn't be accepted forever and must be defeated at all cost.

Why is China’s inflation rate low (inflation 0% from April) compared to the US, Europe and Britain (where inflation is out of control now, thanks to the unethical thieves colluding among FED, Central Bank of European Union and BOE under the leadership of the greatest thief Jerome Powell)

Terrorist Putin is invading Ukraine and threatened to use Nuclear bomb if Russia were invaded due to the consequences of invading Ukraine.

US weapons are useless until so far as the most wicked terrorist Putin has been occupying more and more territories in Ukraine so it seems Ukraine is following the lead of recent Afghanistan collapse dangerously now under the foolish leadership of the most corrupted inflation king Joe/Hunter Biden.

Since Ukraine is currently being invaded, Ukraine have the right to use Nuclear bomb to protect herself from invasion according to Putin's aforementioned word so it's time to provide Nuclear bomb to Ukraine in order to stop terrorist Putin's unreasonable terrorism and bully in Ukraine immediately.

Inflation must be fought from the top, not from the bottom or else messing up the bottom sector shall further increase inflation out of control.

The bottom sector includes minimum wage and so on. If the minimum wage were increased, additional increase from the minimum wage shall be simply passed to the price and consequently further increase inflation endlessly. So whoever says to increase the minimum wage to tackle inflation is absolutely not qualified for the job so this kind of dumb people should be removed immediately in order to not further increase trouble for the people who have already suffered enough trouble already now.

The top sector includes the essential food such as wheat, chicken, vegetable, etc, international shipping, oil, gas,  raw materials such as gold, aluminum, copper, etc. The current undutiful government has been ignoring its essential duty to tackle the top sector for so long already so the mess-up we see today is 100% due to the current ignorant government. The best course of action is indeed sacking all of the undutiful, ignorant, unqualified and irresponsible people in the government immediately for good from creating further trouble and immediately replace with dutiful, qualified, responsible and capable people who shall rigorously follow up all the issues of the top sector until being resolved to return price of the top sector to this pre-pandemic period and consequently shall return justice to the taxpayer.

Justice is dead under the most foolish Joe Biden.

Afghanistan is gone and inflation is out of control now.

And Russia is heading Europe for invasion starting with Ukraine but European countries are quiet like chicken because the most foolish Joe Biden said to do so.

Very soon, European countries would regret listening the most foolish Joe Biden but then Ukraine would be gone and Russia would approach Poland again.

Before it's too late, European countries should enter into Ukraine war immediately just like China entered into Korean war before in order to liberate not only Ukraine but also to liberate energy price permanently from being mercilessly manipulated by Russia.

How much is good annual compensation for a single person with 10 years of software development to stay & work in Berlin. Can anybody share any views on my request with gross salary and net salary after tax deduction?

For the sake of independence and survival, Europe must immediately ban gas throughout Europe and the gas must be immediately replaced with other cheaper alternatives coming from such as hydropower plant, Nuclear energy, wood, coal, etc which can be independently produced in Europe without requiring dependence from untrustworthy source.

It's time to build Nuclear power plant as much as necessary in order to provide sufficient power for Europe as well as to provide the free city transportation including bus and train powered by electricity in order to discourage the public from using the oil fueled cars as the first step to permanently remove oil dependence from Russia and Russia's manipulated OPEC.

Dear Numbeo, dear Numbeo users,

can you please disaggregate reported data points by zip code and allow for longitude and latitude / exact address?

Once that is done you can use different aggregation levels (city boundaries, metro area vs. zip-Code oder perimeters/polygons)

In a larger city you have subdistricts where e.g. a certain drink costs EUR 3.00 and another district (500m or 10 km away) where the cost ist EUR 12.00. Seeing an average does not help all that much.

The point is: Variability within a city can be much higher and also much more relevatn within one city as compared to between different cities.

Maybe someone can share how this thought may be incorporated within numbeo already or how people typically go about augmenting data in this regard.

Thank you and best regards

The central bank in Europe is responsible to cause the recent skyrocketing of the house price because the central bank is overprinting money and spending hundreds of billions monthly in purchasing assets and consequently the house price has skyrocketed unacceptably now in Europe.

The central bank is undeniably accountable to the current suffering of all people regarding the house price skyrocketing.

So the government in Europe have to bring lawsuit against the traitor central bank immediately for its unethical treason of violating the people's trust unacceptably.

Jerome Powell and Janet Yellen from US are also highly suspected of misleading the central bank in Europe since March last year to end up the central bank in Europe betraying its own people's trust with the current skyrocketing house price in Europe so the government in Europe have to request the US government to immediately extradite the criminals Jerome Powell and Janet Yellen from US to face the unpardonable criminal charge in Europe.

If the US government lawlessly deny to extradite both criminals Jerome Powell and Janet Yellen to Europe to face the unpardonable criminal charge, the government in Europe have to stop using US dollar on the international trading immediately.

Russia is the common enemy of the whole world for skyrocketing the price of all natural resources inhumanely even during this pandemic period.

The parasite Russia simply survives by selling its natural resource to the international markets but the problem is that this parasite Russia is extremely greedy now and even dares to attack the whole world shamelessly by skyrocketing the price of its natural resource relentlessly now.

Germany is also to be blamed for helping Russia with a gas pipeline to hack into Europe so the Russia's gas pipeline should be suspended immediately until the normal price of gas is restored and everyone has to work together for this common interest even if needed for sacrifice because it's a worthy cause or else Europe might not be able to escape from the trap of Russia forever and this is not acceptable and shouldn't happen in Europe.

If Russia were imposed sanction earlier, the problem of resources being skyrocketed wouldn't happen right now.

So the world should remember to stay away from the parasite Russia as well as from Russia's manipulated OPEC to be safe so all natural resources from the parasite Russia should be banned immediately in order to restore the normal price of the natural resources and if needed, the parasite Russia must be imposed sanctioned once and for all through the support of worldwide cooperation.

100% to 150% of tax + duty is imposed by the current shameless Myanmar government to new car import from Europe, especially from Germany.

So Germany should lead Europe to demand the greedy Myanmar to immediately reciprocate import/export tax/duty rate from Europe for all items including car, liquor, etc so that the Germany car should be cheap in Myanmar as much as in UK.

In the meantime, Europe should immediately impose the current high tax/duty rate from Myanmar for all items imported into Europe immediately or else it's the weakness of Germany allowing the shameless, greedy fake-democracy Myanmar to harm the interest of Europe businesses unfairly in Myanmar.

Because with that kind of income how can they travel to an actual city ... they can’t. They’re like villagers... they have nothing to compare it to.
You want to talk to someone who will give you a realistic picture of the city NOT what the media praise says, and not what the brainwashed people say praising the city. Unless you like living poor and scraping by so you are stuck to your city I would reccomend elsewhere

And PS NEVER take a germans advice on if the place has low cost of living!!!

Hi. I'm looking to move to Berlin with a job offer where we are currently negotiating salary. I have 10+ years of work ex. The position will report into the Director of Brand for a large organisation, so I was wondering if someone could help me assess if Euro 90k gross is a good salary to ask for? It's a significantly higher amount than what I make now but Berlin also has nearly a 150% higher cost of living compared to India, plus my tax liability as a single person will be double what I pay here. Thoughts?
Ulrich Hille on Nov 03, 2019:
Berlin is a great place to live. I've been living here for the last 35 years. Consumer prices are still moderate which includes rents. With a budget of 2,500€ you will easily make ends meet. Provided you find an appropriate apartment or share a more expensive one. Berlin has turned into an international place within the last 30 years. It is also a very open city. Berliners are seen as grumpy and snappish sometimes; but they are not :)
The city is famous for its cultural life, it's educational facilities and the it's social life. Generally speaking, Berlin is a city where you can have a good live even with a modest income. That's why the city attracts so many young people.

It doesn't matter which country anyone is from including Germany because the majority of society is filled with hate including the post on January 29.Some people type things just to annoy others or say things for that matter.People like to use the word racist etc.etc. their perogative obviously. But at the end of ones life they reflect upon how they could've had a kinder spirit instead of making snap judgements but in the end it's too late to change that.Segrating countries from communicating or visiting may be the keys to peace on earth.Maybe a natural or man made disaster will obliterate earth and silence humanity once and for all. SILENCE IS GOLDEN
Anonymous on Jan 29, 2019:
lmao are the comment sections of Numbeo always such a s***show? Full of arrogant, racist or at least very, very ignorant talks. Life in each place has its pros and cons but no place can be absolute hell or heaven on Earth. But in general living in Germany does offer a lot of benefits over in the US. Depends on what you do. If you want to just earn as much money as possible while burning yourself out, and then go back to your homeland, then go work in Dubai/the US. If you want to enjoy work-life balance and a strong social security system in the long-term, stay in Europe.

Also the Germans are definitely not the warmest bunch, that's true, but if you at least make some effort to learn German and interact with them it'd be totally fine. Also the European youths in big cities are generally very open.

"Asians in US are also smarter and better than germans at everything" no idea why you seem to hold such a grudge against the Germans. IMO Asians are relatively new and still a minority in Germany so people don't usually have strong preconceptions about them as the English-speaking countries might have. There are also quite some Asian Germans and they're getting on just fine. Just try to appreciate and break into their culture also a bit OK? If you plan to act aloof and only speak English why even bother coming here in the first place. Go to an English speaking country.

"if someone is poor is not a problem for the society, just his problem and is all his fault, and nobody should help him "
What is wrong with this statement? It is 100% correct, if you work hard - you get accepted to good Uni and then have a good job. If you are lazy, why should the country help you?

The good-for-nothing India starts threatening the helpless and poor Rohingya refugees in India to the extent of to be slaughtered unless leaving India soon.
International communities have been treating India with due respect not because India is worthy but because of being human being.
Since the scumbag India is treating Rohingya refugees unlike human being, international communities should also treat India according to its worthiness which is less than human being and also weak women are bullied and raped daily in New Delhi city, India, unlike any other cities all over the world.
US and Europe should consider the mistakes that they have done with inhumane India, especially in the matter of recent military equipment sale because sooner or later those weapons would be used to target back to human being which is not what the human societies would like to see.

You are crazy to even think about Germany. Go to eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Romania). A senior Java dev makes 3000+ Euro net and has 50% lower cost of living. Tax rates there are 10% vs. 50% in Germany where 45k gross will lead to 2300 EURO NET only and you'll pay 1000 Euro for the rent. Not to mention all the refugees and other strange creatures moving around, who have more rights than you and are fed by the tax payer.
By the way, 45k is faaar to low expectation for an exp. Java dev in Germany. I'd shoot for 65k if I was you (even then, you'll not be happy when you see your tax).
Step on Sep 28, 2018:
Actual rent per month as of September 2018 is 750-850 with 25-45 mins of commuting from city center, and 900-2000 in city center.
