I suggest you ask people their age, marriage status, and how long they have been living in the city. Also, leave a choice for
"Don´t know". And, you left out two-bedroom apartments. You can also ask people where they lived before, and for how long.

Another idea is to ask if a person works and if "in-home", "in city area", "Distance from home", and do they "Drive", or
take "Public Transportation".

How can a person answer questions about subjects around owning a car if you don´t ask them if they have a car?

I think using my suggestions will help a lot with the accuracy of your surveys. For example, People over 60-80 stay in the homes,
and/or neighborhood, much more than 30-50-year-olds.
