Prices in markets are not as expensive. I buy my bread at 100jpy,milk around 105jpy,wine for 1000jpy or less (sometimes it's even good ;-)) and...water is often free if you are member in a supermarket (but probably not downtown).

the present exchange rate ,july 2009,yen vs usd is 100yen a dollar. so the prices are much cheaper now. please come to visit us.
