Mr. Hayes on Feb 09, 2020:
We live in Kathmandu long-term. WHO just recategorized Kathmandu as the 5th most air polluted city in the world. For past 5 months, AQI has reached category 5 (very unhealthy). Your indices are too low for pollution. Also, cost of living rating ridiculously innacurate for residents. Average mean rental cost for expat condition housing for family of 4 is easily US$1.5-2K! Traffic generally is heavy at 1-1.5 hrs to commute through downtown corridor during morn and afternoon. Little green space across city, and city unbreathable most of the year. Most of your contributors are likely to be idealist back packers/trekkers, with no sense of reality on holiday.
