Brno is a nice, incredibly safe, medium-sized city, but it's still a regional city and not an international one, despite what the locals believe. While is close to Vienna, Prague and Bratislava, an international flight (except London) will add 2.5 hours to get to either Vienna or Prague.

Finding fine items and food is really hard and they are more expensive compared to Austria, which has higher average salary.

Do not expect to befriend Czechs in this city, unless you speak Czech or have been around for a couple of years, you'll be met with circumstantial friendliness by the locals.
