Number of questions asked about my gender preferences before my medical appt at a St Joe run office in Kokomo : 4. Number of questions asked about my health concerns, known issues, previous surgeries, or other actually relevant stuff related to my physical health before my medical appt : 0. What happened when they discovered I was paying cash : they looked at me and decided I looked too... something... too female? too black? too poor? ... to afford the medical tests I needed, refused to even TELL me how much it would cost when I asked them directly how much and offered to delay testing until I could come up with the money to pay up front, refused me tests and hence medical treatment based on how I LOOKED to them, and sent me out the door. Stay away from Kokomo's St Joe run facilities, and that includes MedOne.

There are plenty of places in Kokomo that offer healthcare, but the quality is low. They all seem more concerned about paperwork and their liability than people. If you have a chronic disease, don't move to Kokomo.
