one of the safest cities in the continent. crime is rare.

Pandora ave is bad after dark. Use jonhson st instead when walking or biking.

Avoid Government st north of Fisgard st.

There are areas you don't go after dark alone, but I dangerally feel physically safe during the day. Scammers are around. Muggings and stabbings. Lots of addiction (meth, cocaine, alcohal).

Worse for women. I deal with a lot of harrassment when I go downtown, and sometimes on the busses.
