Generally pretty safe.
Caution is advised during nighttime though, especially in old-town and its surroundings. Attacks on (drunk) tourists do happen.

Very safe. Never seen any violent crime. Estonia has quite big precense of The russian mafia.

Not safe at all. Lots of gangs and mafia hidding in many neighborhoods, my friend was assaulted by a young guy. People arent friendly either.

Tallinn is Very safe, one of the safest cities in the world.
