this city is like: one relatively safe, quite neighborhood with nice people, then couple blocks away literally shootings. Especially lately

It's not that bad, I've been living here for a majority of my life and I only got robbed 2 times but only because the door was opened. But you have to live in the RIGHT spot for safety. its slim for death, robbery, sexual assault, etc, but you might want to keep a sharp eye out for shady people. Overall St. Louis is a safe place.

If you live in a nice neighborhood in the city chances are there is a not so nice neighborhood just a few blocks away. The odds of your house being broken into would be slim but the potential for having your car window knocked out or being mugged still exists.
