In Pune, mostly the worst unqualified people are recruited in its software companies. These people don't have any software talent, they are there just for on-site opportunities and to make money. Pune has thousands of horrible software engineers.
Thank you.
This is a lesson to all the software hubs like Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and one more hellhole Hyderabad that Working From Home is not stopping the increasing trend if Covid Positive cases and deaths. All the software companies in India are filled with cheaters, fraudsters and swindlers in all management levels. Their many objective is cost-cutting and increasing their revenue and savings by making people to Work From Home. Peanuts will be given by these crooks to the hard-working and sincere software engineers.
And Indians will ruin whichever foreign country they settle down. Also all the Government institutions in India are pillars of deceit, injustice, racism and bigotry.
Rape, murder, theft and extortion cases are very high in Pune. Most of these crimes are not reported.
Locals have a very slow pace of life in most things (shops opening late, closed for siesta in the afternoon, slow and lackadaisical service)which is not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, crime was also be considered in this category as it isn't as severe as many large urban sprawls. While it's hardly safe for women most anywhere in India, Pune sees women walking and traveling well after dark.
However, this is laziness is toxic when it encompasses government, law-enforcement and corporate bodies because it stagnates any change that could take place. The attitude of workers in these 3 bodies across the nation isn't anything to brag about but it seems in Pune it is especially poor. It takes forever to get anything done (getting a sim for your phone or gas for your house), traffic cops are rarely reliable, even getting deliveries for major appliances or small packages can be delayed by hours or even days.
The worst part of seeing Pune's devolution over the decades is the sharp increase in visible poverty and pollution. There is garbage everywhere. The main river, Mula river, is black. Has been black for years and the water level is abysmal. The shanty homes built around the river make it even more evident how the problem is just becoming worse.
Pune has a LOT of money due to the large number of IT corporations. However, like everywhere else in India, corruption keeps the money from flowing into infrastructure, social welfare, and education. Rampant "development" and "urbanization" has destroyed one of the mainstays that made Pune such a joy to visit: its greenery. Summers are becoming hotter and drier due to the lost of vegetation and the once cold winters hardly last.
There can be improvements if there are clear limits set on what is and isn't allowed and if that is reinforced by everyone. However, I don't see that happening and doubt it will until it's too late. For now, enjoy it for what it is and while it lasts.
Thank you
