The perceptions of crime in Nashville are surprisingly good. Visited the city in August, 2021. Saw a lot of homeless people on the streets and drunks. The rate of violent and property crime in Nashville is higher than in Chicago as of the of 2023 and yet people think it is a safe place. Amazing what the media bias can create.
