My friend and I stranded in Lyon for the night, without a place to sleep. We felt extremely uncomfortabel and unsafe. We were approached by a guy with a knife, a drug dealer, a guy hiding from the police and numerous people asking us for drugs. We saw several thefts, and were very lucky to be left unharmed.

N'importe quoi !

Lyon is a safe place, i lived there for twelve years and the worst that happened to me was kids throwing toilet paper at my home. Just be a bit more precautious in the suburbs ( or "banlieue").
