People need to stop complaining and share "data" based only from their feelings and misinformation. Linkoping, especially compared to other major cities of Sweden is veery safe. Yes in the past years crime has steadily increased but is still nothing to worry about and be paranoid and racist. You can visit anywhere in the city at both day and night. Just stay vigilant and away from shady places and you're fine.
