Bris has weird dynamics of crime. The inner city Eastern areas (St Judes, Easton, St Pauls) are probably the worst in terms of social problems and violent crime, but are becoming increasingly more gentrified. the far south is pretty bad as well. Some other areas like fishponds, southmead and bedminster are know to be a bit rough but are generally ok. Most areas around the centre and up Gloucester Road are full of students and therefore have a pretty much constant supply of drugs being sold there. I would say drug use in Bristol especially in young people is probably one of the highest in the country. Most other areas are just rich suburbs.

Crime depends on where you live, but the rough areas are pretty bad.
