Train station area has a strong post soviet vibe and smells like WC. Also taxi drivers can offer you a ride. Some people are rude but usually silent.

The city is very safe due to having almost 0 immigrants. However if you plan on visiting, make sure to not engage with gypsies that roam around because most of them carry knives on them. Though this should not be an issue as long as you don’t plan on going to the city periphery. Do not forget to use the public transport system. Our buses are modern, clean and comfortable, the bus ticket costs about 80 cents. If you’d like to learn more, you can send me an email and I’ll help you with tips or information if you need em. great city, great people and architecture, compared to the rest of the country it's a safe city but try not to visit the Astra neighbourhood
