Haha I live in amman jordan im Arabic and I passed by few of your comments and to be honest every thing you said is true especially the taxi part of curse since your in country that you don't know anything about it you can't handle your self 1st when you stop a taxi driver always check the meter come on check if its on if its not then tell him to start it if he refuse tell him to stopand get out and right down the car lilicense number and go to the police and if u need an advice learn arabic its hard but if you dont know arabic you cant handle anything in arab countries since arab people usually barbarians and un educated most of them dont even speak arabic the right way 2nd that lawyer thing you should have taped the conversation and took it to the police make it reach all the way to the government of jordan but u didn't handle your self correct way , jordan is in one sentence : you have resources you will live other than that your nothing and no one will look at you , and the lawyer dude if u still in jordan may I suggest trying the embassy you might get help there and good luck .
