I really am sorry the US hasn't gone metric. I think it shows a basic lack of maturity and considerable selfishness. But there it is.

lol, wut? I've lived in Richmond for almost 20 years. The last time we went to buy eggs at Aldi it was $.70 for a dozen.
A restaurant with 3 meals is 35 dollars minimum with 2 meals , the tip 20% is forgotten also. 1 meal is 15 to 20 dollars without tip.
TAXI 1 HOUR IS NOT 10 DOLLARS.!! 20 minutes of taxi Uber to go from downtown to the airport is 17 dollars (1 week ago)!
Globally, the price written are 30 to 70 %less than the reality.
Perhaps low cost Walmart is the reference ?
