I have just returned from Puerto Vallarta after 20 days looking for a suitable rental where the Expats live because I can not speak Spanish. Preferably a new apartment or Condo with open views and a large infinity pool in common area. I will bring my two miniature dogs with me to the rental place in PV. The condo one bedroom/one bath I like was $1,200.00/Mon for a 12-month long-term from April 2019. I would like a permanent lease. Electricity included.
If you know anybody leases an apt or condo for my specification, pls let me know.

your rent prices are way off. A nice two bedroom where an expat would want to live is at least $1000

Hi everyone, seeking advice. I am a licensed Chiropracor (texas), my wife, 11 year old boy and I are extremely serious about moving there and setting up a practice. And yes, full time, I am bilingual, any thoughts?

This prices are an average and of course if it is your first time in Puerto Vallarta you can make mistakes.
About the rent prices if you want to live in a nice place prices are higher.

I'm single and looking for a place in bucerias near the beach. My budget is around 500 USD for rent for a small, decent place. Is this realistic and any suggestions how how to find a place. The vacation condos and boutique hotels are of course very expensive and I'm looking for something possibly long term. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking of taking time off and going down to PV for about a year. I know enough Spanish
to get by with the basics, but starting to brush up. I have a pension of $3000.00 after taxes, so
I'm sure that'll be sufficient to get by. If any OEF vets spent time down there, please feel free
to respond to email or this site just so I can get your take on it. Thanks...

Could someone tell me where I could go for a few months so I can see if puerto vallarta is a place to relocate. What is the process on this transaction?

Jason Seeberger, I moved down here recently, but have been coming for 30 years. I'm still learning, but am willing to help you out!

Hey Bill (6/18/14), first, sorry about your injury and thank you for your service. I'm a vet too. I'm thinking of living in PV. I've visited 4 times with my MX wife and her 4 girls. My spanish is good (I only knew 3 words when I moved from Chicago to E.P. - tacos, burritos y enchiladas. I'm alone now and want to live in a spacious 1 BR somewhere around Uruguay (I think), higher up with a view. I don't need to be with gringos so a quiet MX neighborhood is desired (quiet? in MX?) I don't want a dump and I'm picky about things but I lived in Juarez for 5 1/2 yrs. I'm still self employed but do business over the telephone and Internet (100 mbps) with clients in USA and other places in the world. I want to slow down and get off the phone. The only real concern is finding suitable living facilities. I can detail more what I need on a later post. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
