Hello, Thank you for allowing me to view the invaluable information on this site. My Son recently relocated to Lafayette. I am concerned for his safety, should I be? I have never been here. I was amazed to learn that the French language is used. We are from a small Island in Nova Scotia, Canada and there are many similarities. Thank you and I wish you well.

If you live in New Orleans you should add the cost of a casket and a funeral.

fwiw in new orleans and metairie (subburb 8 minutes away), the "unlimited data" internet option needs to be updated as there are 2x real options:
ATT DSL - There is a data cap, im not sure of #
ATT FTTH (minor availability)- 1tb / mo data cap
Cox Cable - 1.25TB/mo (or +50$ extra, for unlimited data)
thanks
