Many of these indicators are WAY too low for Gaborone. How can imported beer be less than domestic beer? Its almost always double the price and in a smaller bottle.

The term taxi means something different in Botswana than it does in North America, so the value is incorrect. A "taxi" in the Botswana context is a small car that follows a set route. The fare for this is P5. The starting rate for a "CAB", which is what this listing means by "taxi" in the N.Am context starts at P30 and rises from there.

Rent prices have skyrocketed in the city, as have food prices.

Taxi fare = P5.00
Combi fare = P4.00

Would also like to know where you can get 10 Mbps, Unlimited Data, Cable/ADSL for P900 per month...and P18 for a 500ml beer in a restaurant, more like P40.

Botswana can be a good place to be if the price cannot be converted to US $. And the salary increase like south-Africa. Poverty can dissapear in a day. May God Bless the country/people and rain in the land. People are very nice and respectful.Wow another paradise on earth. And I like how Batswana changed and gave their lives to christ. This alone will make difference.
