I checked on here Chattanooga compared to Syracuse, NY. It says Syracuse is more expensive but it's really reverse in reality. In Syracuse, just facial moisturizer of a major brand in Walmart was 8 bucks compared to same thing Chattanooga 12 bucks. The light bill which in Syracuse is sometimes not counting heat but if you add that in the total bill then do 12 months avg heat and AC, Chattanooga is much more. Chattanooga often has cold enough winters where heat is needed for a few months and then six or more months with horrible heat. Syracuse has a few cold months then mostly mild. Utility in Syracuse would run much lower if you avg it /12 etc by about 50. a month! Most things Chattanooga are more yet wages are much lower & this has Syracuse lower. I can speak for a few Cities and these are two not seeing reality on here. Then there is crime. Both Cities would rank lower than most other Cities their given sizes or larger yet Chattanooga has more violent crime. If you love high humidity & sweating, Chattanooga is perfect. If you like change of seasons with transportation and just travel time to huge Cities fast or to lovely lakes or mountains fast, Syracuse is it. With climate change, Syracuse is having the winters in temps that Chattanooga used to have. Snow is still high in Syracuse which is lovely for a winter when there should be snow.

Wow, the costs of living outweigh the cash flow that goes inward.
