We are facing in Brazil a harsh political situation, economic breakdown and market volatility. If you plan to come soon please, rethink your prospects regarding your lifelong goals. The government is crashing us hard, with previdentiary refit and new brazilian labor (out)law reform. (more or less changed during the course of acceptance in the senate: https://www.latlegal.com/2017/08/brazil-labor-reform-what-you-need-to-know-about-law-no-134672017/).

Pay attention, also, to the fact that the criminality has escalated on a surge rate due to the massive unemployability mass.

The worst of all this, is the fact that our science and technology fund system has been collapsed: http://www.sciencemag.org/news/2017/10/brazil-researchers-struggle-fend-deepening-budget-cuts

So, forget to do R&D here, don't get fooled by despaired hiring staff's seeking mad for workforce all the world around. Cheers!

#Attia on Jan 16, 2017 :
Hi, I got an offer for 6800 R$ after tax. Is this good enough for a family of three people to live comfortably in Campinas. I would like also to know if there is any other dedications other than taxes or this supposed to be the net payment. Thanks.
