I would like to know the rules for posting prices. For instance, for taxable items, do you include the GST and QST (Quebec and Canada equivalent of VAT)? Do you exclude items on sale? Finally, in restaurants do you include the typical tip (officially, on pre-tax amounts, but in actuality, the amount after tax (i.e., with tax included)? I get gasoline (petrol) at Costco because the price is less, but someone coming to my city that just goes to the neighbourhood gasoline station pays more, sometimes it's a lot more.

Do you have an app with the items you want and a space to enter the amount in local currency? I would be glad to collect data for you as I'm retired and have time on my hands. There should also be a place to enter the default locality (in my case, Brossard) and a note field next to a price if it is elsewhere (for example, in my case, probably Montreal or Longueuil).
