Bratislava has a healthy mix of expats. Most in my experiemce are nicer than the expats in Prague and in Sofia whre I come from. I thibk the locals in Bra are more reserved but also more polite and less aggressive there than in Sofia or Prague.

#Anna on Oct 24, 2018: "hi, how much does it cost 1 kg of sovietic candies". Soviet candies were never available in Slovakia (former communist Czechoslovakia). Those who travelled to the former Soviet Union used to bring them to Slovakia as souvenirs.

@DMac - prices per 11/2018
Gasoline Natural 95 - 1,36 € / L
Gasoline Diesel - 1,31 € / L
Mandatory motor third party liability insurance (usual VW Golf or similar) - cca 100 - 150 € / year
Optional Motor damage insurance (accident, natural disasters, theft,...) - cca 400 - 600 € / year
Annual taxes for car "road tax" - only for entrepreneurs/companies - usual 3 years old car 2000ccm - cca 100 - 150 € / year

So if you are OK with only mandatory insurance, it´s pretty cheap compared to Western EU.

Are there any estimated cost for items related to the ownership of the automobiles listed, e.g. auto insurance, license plates and annual renewal for plates (annual taxes and "tags/stickers" for license plates), vignettes, parking?
