Ali on Jul 24, 2024:
Hi,

Is 2000 Jordonian currency good for living and saving in Jordon for single person unmarried?
Yazan on Jul 15, 2023:
Most of the listed prices seem to reflect the current status except for fruits and vegetables as they can range from 0.5JD-2JD per kilo depending on season and where you shop.

As for rent, it's not hard to find a studio apartment for 130-200 JD per month.
As for a 3 bedroom apartment, expect something around 220-350 JD per month.

Buying is different but it'll something around 500-600 JD per square meter
Yousef Lahham on Jan 08, 2023:
Health care and education, whether for children or for university, are quite expensive in Jordan and can account for at least 30% of monthly expenses.
Yousef Lahham on Jan 05, 2023:
I looked through the prices in the list above, and I believe they are current and accurate. The cost of fruits and vegetables fluctuates, but only briefly and generally.
Hacı Gültekin on Aug 16, 2022:
I think these prices for 2021 years. Nowadays we are looking 2 bedrooms home and they are requesting monthly costs approximately 500 jod.
Khaled on Jan 26, 2022:
I believe the estimates mentioned are quiet fair and reasonable, noting that this estimate does not include Rent nor School fees.

@ Hussam alSharif

There are at least two countries I left Jordan for trying a better life and one was worst than the other. Not safe, expensive, and very very aggressive.

@ Rebecca

Those costs are accurate. You can find the Bedouin that go through parts of Amman that have cheaper milks and cheese, just remember to b ok il it first. You can keep chickens in most Amman neighborhoods, just not rooster
