everything has a price. This is the payment for slavery which was born only in America. I am thrilled about the percentages of crimes, drugs, unsafety, etc..After I read this, my city Bucharest is one of the safest cities so better to live in an ex-communist country then there..

We do have crime and high rates. That is true, but specific location makes the difference. Don't make the assumption that you'll be safe all because of some one time tourist experience. We have had incidents of tourist murders and injuries. Look up the story about the Aussie who came here and lost her eye because of an attack during her Mardi Gras vacation. I would also not recommend traveling alone late at night. This is not a place of fantasy. We were homicide capital for multiple years in a row for the longest. The advice is stay alert, exercise caution, and be safe...which should be done everywhere worldwide.
