I think it compares to California (not the Silicon Valley area, but close!). And also has a various landscape, resembling San Francisco's beautiful bay area. Vibrant by day and by night, most inhabitants can enjoy a great life with an average salary of around 2000 EUR in 2022 and rent is still affordable, when you compare it to cities such as London or Paris. And many students come from all round the country to study in Cluj-Napoca at a prestigious Univeristy such as Babes-Bolyai! Shopping malls galore, this is the city where we also enjoy a high number of tourists.

Stop saying the average salary in Cluj is 2000 euros or more. It is not even close. Search it on official sites. It is about 700 euros net. And I'm telling you, with 700 euros net and paying rent, you can barely afford to eat. No nightlife, culture development and so on. Stop making it sound like it is a great place for everyone. Cluj is a beautiful city, no argue with that, but you do need at least 1000 euros to really enjoy it. And by the way, most young graduates start with 250-350 euros which is tragical, in my opinion.
