Is 2000 Jordonian currency good for living and saving in Jordon for single person unmarried?
As for rent, it's not hard to find a studio apartment for 130-200 JD per month.
As for a 3 bedroom apartment, expect something around 220-350 JD per month.
Buying is different but it'll something around 500-600 JD per square meter
I'm Jordanian but i live out of jordan .i want to say , if you make 1500jd monthly in jordan that's good to live in amman but not in all area .some area you have to pay too much for rent .
in jordan 60% people make around $750 monthly also some family have 4 kids .
jordan is beautiful country also nice people .
welcome to jordan .
renting a one bedroom apartment for 180 jod with Utilities its gonna be 220 jod
so as a single with a 550 jod you can live comfortably in amman renting
There are at least two countries I left Jordan for trying a better life and one was worst than the other. Not safe, expensive, and very very aggressive.
@ Rebecca
Those costs are accurate. You can find the Bedouin that go through parts of Amman that have cheaper milks and cheese, just remember to b ok il it first. You can keep chickens in most Amman neighborhoods, just not rooster
I will be moving to Amman for work. Is salary JOD 1200 good for 2 adult. Also is it advisable to stay away from city as i heard the traffic is not so good in Amman.
Initially will be looking for Air BNB and then looking for a permanent place to live. Need help
Thanks in Advance
