Traffic is relatively light in this large town of about 8,000 people. There are two bridges that cross river. Town is on both sides of the river. Sometimes when one of the bridges is closed or traffic reduced on it (due to repair or construction) then there is a problem. At that time traffic gets backed up when cars/trucks are only able to use one of the bridges. That makes a noticeable difference when that happens. Otherwise there is just an increase in traffic flow at beginning and end of work times, but not grid lock or traffic jams like those that occur in large cities. Generally it is easy to get around by car, at most times. Only difference is during bad winter weather, when streets have not been plowed or sanded yet.
