Quality of Life in Taunton, MA, United States

There aren't many options to enjoy the outdoors. If you want to visit the state park that's not even a mile away to ride a bike you still have to drive, because there is no effort put into making streets pedestrian of bicycle friendly, nor any effort to slow down the cars doubling the speed limit. There are no decent farmers markets as most of the farms were so poorly supported that they have closed. Many of the old shops in the city are so long gone and new tenants care for nothing besides profits. It's gone from family owned businesses selling quality products at fair prices to scummy non-English speaking franchise owners selling junk for high prices. The nicest parks are the cemeteries.
